The conference ‘Deepfakes: A (Legal) Deepdive’ focuses on the legal aspects of the deepfakes phenomenon. The seminar aims to share knowledge on current research project involving the sharing of non-consensual sexual deepfakes and its criminalisation within the European Union. We will also explore other types of deepfakes, such as deepscams and audiofakes. Speakers will provide an overview and introduction of the phenomenon, followed by a questions and discussion with the audience.
